WENDER COLLECTIVE is an arts and performance collective with a long history of generative experimentation and interdisciplinary performance research. Working together as a dedicated laboratory ensemble, the artists of Wender Collective have created over a decade of original devised works, including physical theater projects first presented under the name Walkabout Theater Company (learn about our new name and separation here).
WENDER COLLECTIVE now operates as an independent collective of individual artists, activists, and cultural producers creating work in Chicago and beyond.
