ABOUT

WENDER COLLECTIVE is a decentralized arts and performance collective with a long history of generative experimentation. Building on deep roots in laboratory ensemble practice and performance research, the collective provides a nexus for artist-led exploration beyond traditional institutions. Affiliated artists create and collaborate on a wide range of projects, from site-specific & immersive performances to actor trainings, skillshare gatherings, and mutual aid initiatives.

• Embodiment: attuning to the self & one another through movement and breath.

• Interdisciplinary research: inquiry across diverse forms, disciplines, and contexts.

• Prefiguration: practicing liberatory, anti-capitalist, and ecological futures.

• Process: creative engagement that prioritizes autonomy, trust, and mutual support.

The collective remains open-ended, allowing its work and structure to evolve over time.
