WILD SUMMER

An outdoor adaptation of the laboratory ensemble performance The Wild, this raucous spectacle event features a bestial rock band, stilt walkers, large-scale puppetry inspired by Bulgaria’s Kukeri festivals and the ensemble’s signature musicality and muscularity of performance.

Wild Summer was presented by Chicago’s Night Out in the Parks with free performances at Humboldt Park and Garfield Park Conservatory.

Created and performed by Nigel Brown, McCambridge Dowd-Whipple, Al Evangelista, Cooper Forsman, Katie Mazzini, Kendra Miller, Dana Murphy, and Paul Scudder; with Alex Rodriguez, Glenn Potter, Jessica Ervin, Kelly Nesheim, LaKecia Harris, Michael Saubert, Natalie Masini, and Noah Appelbaum. Original music composed and performed by Sam Allyn and Patrick Riley.
